Great show on Nov.16. Well balanced with skits, featured dress up singers. Hillarious and sometimes serious. A wonderful laugh-packed evening. Thank you!
I had never heard you preform until tonite. At the Kilconaa park alliance fund raiser for our refugees.
I have never laughed so much in a very long time.
This Choir and their purpose is a made in Manitoba success story more need to know about and enjoy! 100% Volunteers, raising funds for good causes and providing top quality entertainment. You owe it to yourself to see what they do for our Communities.
We saw the October 6th performance at the Seven Oaks Performance Center thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The cast was great and very entertaining. The four of us had never seen the Sisters before but bought tickets on the recommendation of a friend and were delighted with the night. The songs were great and the humour was refreshing and funny. Great entertainment and we would highly recommend them.
Where can you go to meet Willie Nelson, and Julio Inglesis all on one stage..( ok..maybe a dupe of them)…well…sitting in the audience of the entertaining and funny Sisters Of the HolyRock, that’s where.
. Are any of them Aretha Franklin? No. But they sing their hearts out and try to put on the best show they can. It’s a time capsule of songs you just might find yourself clapping and singing to.. ( They even have a few hits from the 40’s thru to 2000. ) it’s a fun nite that doesn’t use dark humour to get laughs. I don’t think you’ll be sorry you went.
Saw you in Stonewall last night and loved your show!!! You were such fun!! Thank you for this joyful performance and for raising all those funds to help people in need.

I must say that it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. I am an Indian (from India not indigenous) woman assimilating myself in the local Canadian culture and this concert was a step forward in that direction. And something more personal for me with this concert that I lived with nuns for a year in Winnipeg (hosted as a student). But it was sad to see that there were hardly young people (I stood out due to my age and my color) and other ethnicities in the crowd. But I must say that I will come again for my second dose of absolute fun!
After the April 7th 2019 show in the salle Pauline Boutal (CCFM) :
We never laughed so much ! Done with such style ! Wish we were younger so we could join !
However, we noticed there are no black sisters (or brothers) in the group…
So glad you enjoyed our show. We would love to have more representation by different cultural and ethnic groups. While there are no such members at the current time, there have been in the past. If you know of Anyone who would consider joining us, please have them contact our Director. We would absolutely love to have them join us.
The Sisters were in Whitemouth Oct 20th, i tell ya, it is such a great laugh, and the music is fantastic. They harmonize so well together, a wonderful afternoon of entertainment, and never a disappointment. If you have the opportunity to see them take it, a show so well put together. Good job everyone. Wonderful entertainment
Just saw the show for the first time. I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was amazing! I knew every song and couldn’t help but sing along. There was such a good balance of singing and humour. What a great variety of songs! I think my favourite part was the variations of Leaning on the Everlasting Arms. It was great! Also the Coat of Many Colours was wonderful. Great job everyone!
The Sisters of the Holy Rock are dazzling! I was thoroughly entertained; my cheeks hurt from smiling the whole time. The show had just the right combination of singing and humour to keep everyone engaged. My hat’s off to the performers and crew for providing a quality production while helping worthy organizations raise funds.
This was my first time seeing your show and it was even better than I expected! The mix of songs and humour really blended well and the fundraising your group has accomplished is quite impressive. I would definitely go again!
We had the pleasure of seeing the “Sisters of the Holy Rock” performance for the first time, at the COPP – Manitoba 25th Anniversary Conference in Winnipeg October 28, 2016 and enjoyed the variety and era of the songs. I would love to see the show again as there were probably some things I missed while laughing so hard. Keep-up the good work, your group truly “ROCKS”.
I had never seen the sisters of the holy rock before. I had not heard or seen them before but believe me when I say that I was very impressed with the show. thanks again.
Fantastic, we all enjoyed the group, the singing especially for all us older folks. We could sing along and like I said enjoyed it immensely. The best entertainment at an AGM or any other event that I have ever been too. All the best in the future and hope to see you again.
Absolutely loved it. My third time of seeing the sisters and I do believe this was the show I enjoyed the most. Learning that one of my neighbours is one of the sisters made it that much more special.
We the copp Carberry group really enjoyed the show. None of us had heard of them before so was nice to sit back and relax. They are great and would love to see them again. Thank you for all the hard work
The music was great – very funny and uplifting. It was a great way to kick off our 25th annual C.O.P.P. conference. I would highly recommend this sister act to everyone, great job ladies (and gentlemen)!
I have seen Sisters of the Holy Rock on several occasions, (Latest on Oct 28, 2016)Each time I have come away with awe with the singing and laughs. Great entertainment that cannot be beat. Keep up the good works Sisters, Brothers and Mother Superior!!!!
I must tell you that your Amen song was still going through my head on Saturday and I was singing it up and down the halls of the hotel!!!
Sisters of the Holy Rock, really rock! Energetic, funny, entertaining and some very good voices in this choir. The fact that they are all volunteers and the proceeds go to charity just enhances their appeal. See them if you have the chance or better yet, envite them to your community event.
